After-school STEM clubs for children aged 5–14

We help bridge the STEM gap in education

There is increasing evidence that children’s attitudes towards STEM subjects are developed in primary school, and yet UK schools are still catching up. Our in-depth project-based learning is aligned to the UK Curriculum, so together we can bridge the gap in STEM education.

Ages 5–7

KS1

Research suggests the younger we expose children to STEM subjects, the chances are they won’t succumb to social stereotypes. Students understand the basics of algorithms and learn to create and debug simple programs, thus improving their logical reasoning skills.

Ages 7–11

KS2

High-quality STEM education in primary schools enriches children to improve their computational thinking and creativity. We teach the fundamentals of programming where students design and build goal-based projects by combining both the physical and digital worlds.

Ages 11–14

KS3

We equip pupils to become digitally literate at a level suitable to be active and confident participants in the 21st-century digital world. Students learn complex algorithms, data structures and understand the behavior of real-world problems and physical systems.

LEGO WeDo Robotics Engineering

Science and Computing come to life through our expertly crafted hands-on Robotics curriculum, giving children an engaging way to explore core STEM concepts and solve real-life problems.

micro:bit Robotics Programming

The BBC micro:bit is a powerful micro-controller where hardware meets software to help children create real-world outcomes. Children gain fluency and technical knowledge in device-based programming.

Scratch Coding

Children taking their initial steps in coding learn the basics of computer programming using Scratch MIT Edu, a popular block-based visually-rich interface — becoming systematic thinkers and problem solvers.

Python Coding

One of the most widely-used programming languages in current businesses. Children learn to design and develop complex algorithms, data structures and procedures in achieving project-based goals.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

Children understand the underlying concepts of Machine Learning through hands-on experiments focused on real-world examples such as sustainable farming, global warming and self-driving cars.

Roblox and Lua Programming

Using Roblox Studio, children design, code and publish their own games — configuring and creating custom models with Lua, a powerful text-based scripting language.
