Easter, half term, summer and Christmas camps in Woking
Camps are booked by the day, so you only pay for the days you actually need. Dates change every year — the camps page always shows exactly what is open for booking right now.
Easter holiday camps in Woking
The Easter break is the first long stretch of the year where parents in Woking need cover, and it is the camp parents ask us about most. When Easter dates open at Hoe Valley School they go straight onto the camps page — book the individual days you need rather than the whole fortnight.
May half term camps
May half term is short, so it suits children who want to try one subject properly — a week of robotics, or a first go at coding — without committing to a longer holiday course. Any May dates we run appear on the camps page alongside the ages each course is designed for.
Summer holiday camps in Woking
The summer holidays are six weeks long, and a Woking summer camp week gives children something to build, break and rebuild in the middle of it. Because every course is booked by the day, you can slot camp around holidays away, grandparents and work patterns instead of the other way round.
October half term camps in Woking
October half term camp is indoor territory — laptops, LEGO robotics kits and electronics rather than a field. It is a popular week for parents looking for a half term camp in Woking that keeps children busy and off the sofa when the weather turns.
Christmas holiday camps
The Christmas holidays are the trickiest weeks of the year to cover, sitting either side of the bank holidays. Whenever we open Christmas camp dates in Woking they are listed on the camps page with the courses running that week.

Six STEM subjects, all equipment provided
Each camp day is a project children take from an idea to something that runs, moves or plays. Which subjects run in a given week depends on the camp — the course list for each one is on the booking page.
Robotics
Build and program a working robot, including LEGO robotics kits.
Coding
From block-based coding to text languages, at the child’s own pace.
Game Design
Design and build playable games, including Minecraft education.
Science
Hands-on experiments and the thinking behind them.
Electronics
Circuits, components and devices children wire up themselves.
Discovery
Wide-ranging STEM projects for children still finding their subject.
How a day at camp works
Doors open at 9:20am and we ask that children arrive by 9:30am so the day can start together. Camp finishes at 3:30pm for children aged 5 and over, and 4:30pm for children aged 7 and over. At registration we take the name of anyone else who may be collecting your child that day.
Children bring their own packed lunch — our camps are nut-free — and we provide water and fruit through the day. Laptops, robotics kits and every other piece of equipment are supplied.
Instructors are DBS-checked, STEM-qualified and trained in the AweSTEM curriculum and our safeguarding policies. AweSTEM is Ofsted registered, which is also what makes childcare vouchers usable against a booking.
